〈Time Turn Table〉은 주간 일정 다이어리에 기록된 개인의 시간 데이터를 시각적 패턴과 소리로 변환한 작업이다.
요일과 시간대에 따라 구획된 주간 다이어리의 일정 기록을 회전시키고 중첩하여, 반복되는 삶의 주기와 시간의 밀도를 중심에서 바깥으로 방사되는 원형의 그래픽으로 재구성하였다. 여러 주에 걸쳐 축적된 일정들은 서로 겹쳐지며 규칙과 불규칙, 반복과 변화가 공존하는 하나의 시간적 패턴을 형성한다.
이렇게 만들어진 그래픽은 레코드 형태의 원형 오브제로 제작되어 턴테이블 형태의 구조물 위에서 회전한다. 회전하는 표면에 레이저를 조사하면 그래픽의 명암과 패턴에 따라 반사되는 빛의 세기가 지속적으로 변화하고, 이 빛의 변화를 센싱하고 증폭하여 소리로 변환한다. 이 과정에서 시각적으로 기록된 시간의 밀도와 반복은 회전 운동을 거쳐 리듬과 음향의 변화로 다시 나타난다.
〈Time Turn Table〉은 일상의 시간을 직선적인 연대기 대신 반복해서 회전하는 원형의 구조로 바라본다. 개인의 일정 속에서 반복되는 행동과 시간의 밀도는 하나의 시각적 리듬을 만들고, 그 리듬은 다시 빛과 소리로 변환된다. 작품은 기록된 시간을 보고 듣는 대상으로 변화시키며, 반복되는 삶의 주기와 그 안에서 미세하게 달라지는 일상의 리듬을 드러낸다.

〈Time Turn Table〉 is a media installation that transforms personal time data recorded in a weekly planner into visual patterns and sound.
Schedules organized by day and time are rotated and superimposed, reconfiguring the repetition of everyday life and the density of time into a circular graphic that radiates outward from the center. Records accumulated over several weeks overlap to form temporal patterns in which regularity and irregularity, repetition and variation coexist.
These graphics are produced as circular objects resembling vinyl records and placed on a turntable-like structure. As the surface rotates, a laser is projected onto it, and the intensity of the reflected light continuously changes according to the brightness and density of the graphic pattern. These fluctuations in light are sensed, amplified, and converted into sound. Through this process, the density and repetition of time, first encoded visually, are transformed through rotational movement into changes in rhythm and sound.
Rather than presenting everyday time as a linear chronology, 〈Time Turn Table〉 approaches it as a recurring circular structure. Repeated activities and varying densities of time become visual rhythms, which are then translated again into light and sound. The work turns recorded time into something that can be both seen and heard, revealing the repetitive cycles of everyday life and the subtle variations that emerge within them.
